Flexineb E3 is an innovative inhaler and nebulizer for horses in one product. A nebulizer can produce a very fine mist of medicine or natural preparations, with delivery directly to the horse's lungs. Flexineb E3 allows you to care for and/or treat the horse's respiratory tract in an easy and effective way.

Flexineb E3 has a soft mask that fits over the horse's muzzle. Medicines and alternative treatments are filled into the medicine cup and then converted into a fine mist for inhalation. Inhalation is a very effective way that ensures that the horse's respiratory tract is always optimally treated for the best possible performance. When inhaled, the medicine gets deep into the lungs, where it is beneficial. Utilization of the medicine is thus ensured - it ends up in the horse and not in the mask or the horse's throat.

Simple steps that make the difference

1. Fill the Flexineb E3 Cup and turn on the Flexineb E3 Controller
2. The liquid is converted to a fine mist (aerosol) through vibration of the mesh/membrane (90 thousand times per second)
3. The fine mist is released into the Aerosol Holding Chamber
4. The available aerosol is actively inhaled by your horse
5. Fine particles are delivered to your horse’s lungs
6. Your horse exhales through the exit valve. The cycle repeats with every breath

NOTE! Be aware of where you measure the horse's head to determine which size your horse uses (approx. at the top noseband of a bridle). The Cob size in a Flexineb mask corresponds to a Full bridle/halter/etc. that you use in everyday life!!!

Types of medication usable with Flexineb E3

Examples of medications successfully nebulized with Flexineb E3 include:

• Antibiotics – e.g. Cobactan®, Excenel®

• Corticosteroids – e.g. Pulmocort®, Dexamethasone

• Bronchodilators – e.g. Atrovent®, Ventolin™

• Mucolytics – e.g. Parvolex®, saline

• Saline with a few drops of Olbas oil or Eucalyptus oil

Note: The viscosity of the medication can affect nebulization time. Some medications may be diluted with saline to improve performance.
